Who Am I?

I’m a dad who latched onto books like a security blanket—mostly because I needed something to keep me sane. Life has thrown me some rough patches, and during those late nights, early mornings, and emotionally exhausting middle-of-everythings, audiobooks became my escape route.

These days, audiobooks are how I survive menial tasks, emotional burnout, and never-ending to-do lists. And thanks to voice actors who can make a character feel more alive than my houseplants, I’ve fallen hard for the world of storytelling through sound.

Do I need friends? Probably.
Should I socialize in ways that don’t involve yelling into the void of the internet about books? Also yes.
Do I have time for any of that?
Absolutely not.

I work on this site between 9 and 10 p.m. each night—because that’s when the house is quiet and my brain still kind of works. I dedicate most of my life to my family, which I’m proud of. But this? This little corner of the internet?
It’s just for me.

’m not a marketing firm. I don’t have a team. I’ve got me… and ChatGPT. I’m using AI because I can’t afford to hire a full-time staff to help me write, edit, code, and brainstorm. But honestly? I’m having a blast.
